The Health Economists’ Study Group Summer 2023 Meeting was hosted by the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC), University of Oxford, from 21st-23rd June 2023.
Meeting schedule
The HESG Summer Meeting took place at Keble College, Oxford, over three days from 10 a.m. on 21st June to lunchtime on 23rd June 2023. The meeting included an additional session on Wednesday morning, which was open to all, entitled Improving Health Economics Communications.

- Wednesday 21st June – pre-meeting workshop from 10:00, registration and lunch from 11:00, afternoon sessions (with refreshments), members meeting, lightning talks, evening drinks and canapés.
- Thursday 22nd June – morning sessions (with refreshments), lunch, afternoon sessions (with refreshments), Conference dinner.
- Friday 23rd June – morning sessions (with refreshments), 13:00 meeting close.

Venue and accommodation
The main conference took place in the modern conference centre in the heart of historic Keble College.
An allocation of bedrooms, on a B&B basis, was set aside at 3 venues this year, a few minutes’ walk away from each other. When registration opened on the 13th of March, there was one link to register for the conference and separate links to each of the 3 accommodation options to book and pay directly to those venues.
