Venue and accommodation

The venue for the meeting is the Midland Hotel, Manchester, which will also provide accommodation. It is a historical 4-star grand hotel first opened in 1903. Just one year later in 1904, The Midland Hotel hosted the meeting where Charles Rolls and Henry Royce signed the first agreement that led to the formation of Rolls-Royce Limited. The hotel has 312 rooms and includes the UK-famous “The French” restaurant (which famously refused access to The Beatles for being “inappropriately dressed”), the classy “The Midland Bar” and a Spa. The hotel is located in a beautiful Grade II* listed building directly on St Peter’s Square in Central Manchester.
