The Health Economists’ Study Group Winter 2027 Meeting will be hosted by Queen Mary University of London, from 13th-15th January 2027.

Meeting schedule
The HESG Winter Meeting will take place at the Mile End Campus of Queen Mary University of London, over three days from 1 p.m. on 13th January to 1 p.m. on 15th January 2027.
A full programme will be available to download in due course.
- Wednesday 13th January – Registration opens 11 a.m., lunch at 12 p.m., afternoon sessions from 1 p.m., refreshments, members’ meeting, BBQ dinner at the venue at 6 p.m.
- Thursday 14th January – Morning sessions from 9 a.m., refreshments, lunch, afternoon sessions, evening drinks reception, conference dinner at the venue at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday 15th January – Morning sessions from 9:30 a.m., refreshments, packed lunch and departure from 1 p.m.
Minutes from the Members’ Meeting will be available to all members on the Minutes page.
Abstracts
An abstract booklet will be available to download in due course.
Papers
Delegates will be able to download all accepted papers for this meeting in due course, using the password provided by the Local Organising Committee.
Venue and accommodation
The HESG Winter 2027 Meeting will take place over three days in the East End of London, on the Mile End Campus of Queen Mary University of London. The meeting location is easily accessible from all the main train stations in London via a short tube journey. The nearest tube stations are Stepney Green (District and Hammersmith & City lines) and Mile End (District, Hammersmith & City and Central lines), both five minutes’ walk from campus.
As this HESG meeting has been organised at short notice, the Local Organising Committee are unfortunately unable to include accommodation in the registration fee. However, discounted rates have been arranged at several local hotels, ranging from £60-£150/night:
